The art is gorgeous. Great illustrations that definitely dominate the text. The creaky lines and expansive space around the drawn characters allows the reader's mind to get lost in places and people not mentioned in the story. Very lovely. I recommend it as a great book to read on a chilly day with a steaming mug of tea. Don't read to young children unless you want to cure them of crass commercialism brought on by overdoses of Disney.
