it was amazing

John Stephen's Emerald Atlas is a promising first novel of a new children's fantasy trilogy. Orphaned at a young age, Kate, Michael and Emma are transferred from institution to worsening institution until they find themselves at an orphanage that houses only the three of them.

Circumstances get even stranger when they run across a book that has no words, but holds a tremendous amount of power. Soon the children find both the magical and human worlds depending on them for survival.

This book is written along the veins of The Chronicles of Narnia, Wizard of Oz, or The Five Children and It.

A good fantasy novel for children 3rd grade and higher.

Tina Sounds like a very good read. I'll have to check it out. Kind of like The Talisman by Stephen King or have you read The Gunslinger Series by Stephen King ?
