it was amazing
bookshelves: clean-romance, lds-romance

Mandi Slack's debut novel is a tense story with the main character running from an abusive ex-husband. In her desire to protect her precious son, she heads to Mona, Utah. Once I started this novel, I couldn't put it down. I loved the interaction Jacey has with her son, Blaze. I also enjoyed the romance that develops between Jacey and the widowed Kale. For those who love clean suspenseful romance, this is just the ticket. If you're looking for excellent LDS fiction, this is a great read. Even though there are LDS elements to the story, you don't have to be LDS to enjoy it. Highly recommended. I'm looking forward to reading Mandi's next book.
