finally getting to this one and I'm surprised by how funny it is; not like Barry Hannah, but still...and it's just so SOOTHING after a long day at school. Can't read more than about 20 pages at a time but I find myself literally being soothed/calmed by Proust's prose--I'm reading the Lydia Davis translation of this, and not that I really KNOW but it seems to be pretty amazing and I l-o-v-e her anyway and on her own.

Finished a few weeks ago. Wow. Will probably have to read more of the volums as I want/need to know more about Swann.
