Well, in keeping with the Roald Dahl marathon I have inadvertently embarked on, I decided to give Matilda a read. I must say this book was exquisitely charming and an absolute joy to read. I do feel a necessity to point out Quentin Blake's fabulous illustrations. I'm starting to think a tattoo of Matilda sitting adorably atop her stack of books would be a precious and indelible tribute. Please read this one if you have not already....
