HOLY COW THIS BOOK. A fellow blogger posted about it and I have wanted to read it since that day. I didn't expect I would love it this much. I listened to half of it with hoopla and read the rest after the book was available at my library. I couldn't help but hear the narrator through the whole book. He does have a different voice and it seems like he whistles as he talks. Hard to explain but it drove my husband insane. It didn't bug me too much, as I really loved the story.

I felt the characters were well formed and I loved them all. So much so that I couldn't pick a favorite character; From Ronan to Persephone, They're magical and I would even say perfect. Even the villain blew me away. Everyone has their reason for being the way they are. I really can't wait to see where they go in the next books. While the characters are fantastic, they story line hooked me in. The twists and turns were so fresh that I didn't even see them coming. After reading as many books as I have, it gets to the point where I can call a lot of the twists before they happen. Maggie Stiefvater is a phenomenal storyteller, even though I have only read one of her books I can tell you that. The bigger twist midbook had me verbally saying 'NO FREAKIN WAY' at 1 am while my husband was asleep next to me. I woke him up and I regret nothing. Not to mention that crazy last sentence of the book! WHAT WAS THAT. I NEED TO KNOW. AH! I'm 2nd in line for book two with the library right now and the wait is driving me wild. I would recommend this book to anyone that loves a good story.
