I remember watching Matilda as a kid but around my teen years, I forgot all about it. Then around the time when I turned 20, I suddenly remembered it again when I saw a meme about it but couldn't remember the title. Luckily, Google helped.

Revisiting Matilda's story through audiobook instead of watching it again was a delight. The scenes I remembered as a kid played out in my mind again as I listened. Although, listening to it with a more mature mind, some things seemed strange to me and weren't explained very well. You just had to accept that that's how it was in Matilda's world.

At the end though, I found myself liking this story. Gave me a nice trip to memory lane.
