The Hanging Tree (Rivers of London, #6)

This may well be the best book in the series so far. The action rolls along at a good pace, all the central characters are involved, and Peter's on good snarky form.
It's good to be back in London. The jaunt outside the city in Foxglove Summer has reminded me how important London is to these books as a setting with a character all of its own.
I did feel the very end left things a little flat. A lot happens in this book but at in the final few pages you're left wondering what it's all been for. Have things really moved along? What next for the Faceless Man/Lesley ongoing plot?
I look forward to the next book to see if my questions are answered!
