I keep reading because I'm interested enough to want to know what'll happen next. I just am not that into though. I wish that instead of following the Percy Jackson formula with Egyptian Gods, Riordan had done something totally different. Oh well, the kids seem to like it and that's what it's really about.

Neil I feel the same way. Once I start a Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus book, I can't stop. However, I have been reading/attempting to read Throne of Fire since the Spring. It's good, but far from great. It is also a bit frustrating knowing that Riordan is able to craft tales that interest me, but also knowing this isn't one of them.
