it was amazing

ScAriton is a good book to read with your middle elementary school child. Especially if your child loves adventure and has a great imagination. The author brilliantly weaves adventure, survival skills, and advanced vocabulary through a story that will keep you and your young reader engaged and unwilling to put the book down. Young Josh seeks adventure in the woods behind his parents house. One of my favorite themes of the book is the internal struggle Josh wrestles with - he misses his parents and is concerned that they are worried about him but he can't abandon his friends and his mission to help someone in need. I highly recommend this book to parents, children, and teachers who might want to engage a struggling reader into a story that encompasses adventure, suspense, and that develops the reading skills and vocabulary - without making them feel like they're doing homework.
