it was amazing

Full of a lot of godly wisdom and humor, this book has been such an encouragement to me at a time when I've really needed it. Here's one of the quotes that has been so helpful:

"'Therefore, having such a hope, we use great boldness. (2 Cor. 3:12)' Did you catch the connection between hope and boldness...? If you and I are going to live and love audaciously, we're going to have to quit answering the door when hopelessness bangs its ugly fist at it. Hopelessness is a liar. A convincing one. We offer it no welcome, no couch to rest upon, no meal to feast upon. We do not cater to it in any way. All the enemy of our souls would have to do is to kick the legs of audacity out from under us and fuel our souls with hopelessness. If we're followers of Christ,we're not even hopeless when we stare imminent death right in the scary face."
