Claire and Dan are back, and starting the next chapter in their budding relationship. Claire is still over the moon with her new career, and moving back with in with Camille and Bridget settles her back into the routine she craves. However, life is organic and constantly changing, which only exaggerates her fears, as she and Dan navigate through the waters of career opportunities, family relationships, and opening the doors the not only trust but truth.

Q.T. Ruby's follow up novel to A Matter of Trust only highlights her deep rooted talents. A Matter of Truth picks right back up with the humorous relationship of Claire and her "Fairy Slutmothers" who help redirect Claire when she is in her doubtful doldrums. Dan maybe six years her junior but Ruby certainly knows how to write the passion and dedication Dan has for Claire. Ruby digs into family dynamics and how they help shape, mold, and define many aspects of a person’s adult perceptions. She also explores how a person finally develops into their own, as they become self-reliant and confident with their own inner self. The multiple layers of meaning behind the title alone are revealed and peeled back exposing this story of trust and truth layer by layer. Ruby exceeds all expectations with this latest release, and falling deeper in love with Claire and Dan is exactly what happens when truth and trust matter!
