The Hungry Writer

My son brought me a copy of Lynne's book back from a business trip to the UK and I couldn't wait to start it and barely put it down once I had :-)
I was subscribed to the Hungry Writer blog, from which the book is elicited, from the start and had dipped into blog posts over the months and therefore thought I knew what I would be reading. But the book was even better than I had expected. Skillful selection, editing and sequencing of material transformed a series of eclectic and random blog posts into a compelling page turner -- if those last are the right words to describe the author's reflective take on her life, her beloved family and the inextricable joy of preparing delicious foods to feed them both bodily and spiritually.
