*ARC* from the author in exchange for review.

Well, it has been said that third times the charm, and this book proves that the saying is true. This book is my favorite in the series.
Matt Tremont grew up in a home where he was too much of a sissy for his dad, and a mom who never defended her son from the verbal abuse his father dished out. Eventually, Matt found his way to his friend Daniel's house, where Daniels' parents, Susan and Bob, took in Matt, and a few other friends who needed a strong guiding force in their respective lives.
Matt is now a grownup , who owns his own billion dollar company, and is a single father to son Noah. Noah is your typical precocious child, whose growth is being stunted by his very overprotective dad.
This is where Ariana (Ari) enters.
A former employee of Daniel, Ari put herself through college to get her child development degree, and is recommended to be Noah's new nanny.
Ari is no stranger to a harsh childhood, having watched her older brother enlist in the Army when she was eight, and then losing her mother to a drug overdose at 12, then bouncing around the foster care system before aging out at 18.
Both Ari and Matt have enough baggage to travel the world five times over, but through it all, Ari has always remained positive, trusting and happy, and sure that one day, she and her brother Gideon will meet up again.
Matt never expected to fall so in love with Ari that it would shake him to his core, and make him see that despite his desire to protect his son at all costs, he's only sheltering him from life.

I loved every little detail about this book. From the way Ari and Matt came together, to catching up with the characters from the previous and future stories, to the dynamic every character had with each other.
My only complaint was that the brother storyline was wrapped up a little too quickly and neatly. When your B storyline occupies half the book, it deserves a better ending.
I can't wait to read the next in the series!
