Wow, what a load of crap.

A simple concept that could have been done very elegantly, it contains examples that nearly undo the intent, including an abuse case in which the author advises the woman to go back to her abuser! It also has the problem of being too simple of a concept. Even if you're talking to a person "in their love language" the complicated nature of the human pysche and other factors in the situation may be to blame.

At the very least it's a good way to tell if the person giving you marriage counseling knows what they're talking about. If they recommend this book, chances are they don't.
