it was amazing
bookshelves: five-stars

The world and characters the author created with this series is just mindblowing. The details he put into the history beyond the current story, and the details of the families and how everything intertwines with each other is truly magical. I almost regret not reading it earlier but on the other hand, younger me might not have appreciated the way of story telling as much.

Each chapter is dedicated to the POV of one character and as the story progresses more and more stories start to intertwine with each other and people meet, people fight, people die. It’s the beginning of a story that I cannot wait to read more of and truly experience it all. If you’re a fan of the world building of Tolkien, I’m 99% sure you’ll enjoy this as well.
