Ug. I feel uncharitable giving just one star, and maybe I should give two. The big question, though, is why I wanted to read a book with this kind of title. ("Lady?") I've traditionaly liked Scottoline's legal thrillers, but this one was weak, sexist, flat and flawed. And it has one of my pet peeves: the mc is around 30, but she seems middle aged, complete with ancient parents in a denture-wearing crowd. Just one of many things that doesn't ring true.

N It was a good plane book--just enough action to keep me from dozing off, but predictable enough that I could use part of my brain to concentrate on keeping the plane from falling out of the sky. I'd give it a two star.
