1. A Father's Promise by Donna Lynn Hess
I gave this book a 4/5 because it gave me the feeling of wanting to read on. Although i hate reading, this book really grabbed my attention. This book made me think about my faith and trust. This book is about a father and son who live in Warsaw,Poland. The son's name is Rudi, who is a Christian Jew. His father is a doctor that works in a local hospital. At around this time, Hitler and his army take over Poland. In order to escape, safely, Rudi must follow the instructions given by his father and trust in a promise. Rudi escapes and survives on his own in the forest for the next five years. Rudi had to use what he had learned in order to survive. He also had to learn how to be brave, overcome the hatred of his enemies, and most of all, trust in God. After the war was over, Rudi and his Father were reunited! This is an amazing book that really challenges your faith. I Recommend this book to all Christians.
