This book starts in a slow and depressing manner (although I suppose that's logical since the character is depressed). It takes some time to adjust to Vizzini's use of "like" instead of "said" and other similar conversational cue words, but that makes it all the more genuine.

Once Craig (the main character) begins to figure his life out and do compassionate things for others I became more and more glad that I was reading. A good book for high school teachers to read and remember what life's like (or could be like) at 15.
