it was amazing
bookshelves: captive, contemporary, friends-to-lovers, second-chance-love, secrets

First book I've read from this author and it won't be the last!!

The writing was freaking spectacular. I couldn't put this book down!! From the first page, I was consumed by this story. Each flashback painfully gripped my heart and each scene has now been permanently seared in my mind.

The twist in the story threw me off even though I suspected it. At least it cleared up the link between Skye, Esteban and Damian.

The budding relationship between captive (Skye) and captor (Damian) was CAP-tivating. I especially loved how Skye embraced her inner Stockholm.

This book had a great mix of sweetness, heartbreak, humour, love, hate, vengeance, and redemption.

"Love don't die." - Damian

Enjoy! xo
