it was amazing

Part ghost story, part murder mystery, Dead in Time offers an utterly absorbing journey into the past. Academic Ellis Ross finds herself derailed by the persistent ghost of Damon Brent, who claims that his death 30 years previously was anything but accidental.

What I really enjoyed about Dead in Time was the characters and the slow unravelling of the truth. Not only does Reith offer stunning dialogue and setting, but she really knows her stuff with creating the buzz for the glam rock era.

If you enjoyed Velvet Goldmine and love your Ziggy Stardust, go by this book. Go. Do it NOW. You won't regret it. This one's a keeper, and Reith is now on my permanent list of top authors, ranking with Storm Constantine, Neil Gaiman and Poppy Z Brite, in my books.
