really liked it

a student told me this book had changed his life - that's a good recommendation.
I liked it a lot, but not enough to read the others in the series.

Alex The rest of the books in the series are mostly a waste of time--Card is a huge fan of tying the whole story up in a neat little bow at the end. The exception is the very next book in the series, Speaker For the Dead, in which Ender, in his search for a home for the Formic Queen, lands on a colony with another alien race, and a virus that condemns you to the planet's surface for the REST OF YOUR LIFE.

But yeah, Xenocide and Children of the Mind... waste of time.
