it was amazing
Read 2 times. Last read April 29, 2011.

As usual, Christine Feehan draws me into her world from the first chapter. Her ability to create and describe a place you may have never vistied or seen is amazing. You feel as if you are actually part of the environment. The world of shape shifter she has created is so realistic and believable it is almost hard to imagine that it is fiction.

Her characters are always fantastic but I really liked Saria, the heroine, in this story. She is tough, confident, honorable and yet vulnerable. The hero is a strong leader attuned to the subtlities of the world around him.

I love the leopard series and the team of characters that Christine has created. I find myself wanting to know each team member's personal story, wanting to understand each team member's history and hoping that I will get the opportunity to read each of their love stories. Again, this is why Christine Feehan is my favorite author. Every book she writes hits it out of the park and sucks you in until you are begging for more.
