I've been itching to read this book for awhile now and I'm glad I finally found the time to do so. I've been incredibly busy lately and I've been battling to find the time to read. But the moment I started the book I knew that I would simply just have to make time. I read this one in a few days!

Angela Meadon is a great story teller. I was horrified by this tale which I'm sure is exactly the reaction she wanted in her readers. The story takes us through a young South African woman's ordeal as her daughter is kidnapped in order for her body parts to be used in Muti (traditional medicine).

I can only imagine how much more intense this would've been if I had a child myself. I found the characters to be exceptionally believable and I was glad that we got a few chapters from the child's point of view.

As a South African woman myself it was interesting to read a book based in Johannesburg and I related to all the terminology that was used throughout.

I cannot wait to read more from this author.

She brings the dark and twisted world out into the light.
