If you enjoyed What I Saw and How I Lied, you'd probably like Strings Attached. There certainly are similarities between the two. Both are exquisitely written noir stories and Judy Blundell shows off her talent of evoking the time period brilliantly. Blundell with great subtlety peels back the glamour of the time period and gives you a glimpse of the fears and anxieties that pervade the social consciousness. Both novels concern the theme of children forced into adulthood by having dealing with the consequences of their parents' poor behavior.

I wonder if Judy Blundell writes about Queen Amidala as well as she writes YA historical noir.
