Holy polyester rat panties, Batman! This was my first Roach read, and I'll certainly be adding her others to my to-read list. In "Bonk", Roach champions modern centuries' beleaguered sex researchers while exhibiting their more hilarious methods, misconceptions, and findings. Do female orgasms increase fertility? More specifically, do female pigs have orgasms, and how can we tell? Certainly, Roach leaves a lot of mechanics and resolute conclusions untouched, but her descriptions of the studies themselves are screamingly funny. It's wet, enlightening, unprotected fun. And it's informative. I'll never look at a frozen pig tail the same way again.
