** spoiler alert ** I would say that the play Inherit the Wind is an interesting play. I think it really captures your attention especially if you are really into evolution. Lawrence and Lee debate over the creation of man. On one side of this heated debated, you have the people who are strongly religious. These strongly religious people think that the creation of humans was the doing of God while the non religious people believed that the creation of humans was due t the process of evolution. The title “Inherit the Wind” comes from the biblical proverb, “He who brings trouble on his family will inherit only wind, and the fool will be servant to the wise.” This relates to Brady in the play. Brady was a strong believer of God being the creator of humans but once being question he displayed no strong factual evidence. Although Brady has one the debate, he died of a heart attack. This meant that although he won he lost something. This whole debate of where humans came from and how they came to be is a heated debate because many answers are brought into it. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes reading about debates and or likes to see different points of view of where human s really came from.
