This book is basically a horror though compared to todays standards and the horror movies we see today, it's more brutal, sad, awfully weird at times, and historical. I like this book but I don't love it. It kept me on my seat but only because I had too! There were a lot of times when I just really hated the moment or when I thought "really?" There were a bunch of those moments and I don't want to spoil anything but this suits someone who wants to read from the historical point from back then and what people wanted to read during that time but it's not bad book! If this book can be remember by people who didn't even read nor know there was a book, then that means that this book has made history somewhere either for the timing of the author and her time period or because of the fact that during Mary Shelley's time, this book was something that no one has ever seen before and it struck readers with a surprise!
