☆☆☆☆ 4.5 Stars ☆☆☆☆
The Braden siblings are well known and most feared. Everyone knows better than to mess with any of them, everyone knows what kind of hurt it will cost them if any of the Braden siblings are messed with. That is where the story starts. The siblings are a big mystery, beautiful and everybody wanted to be with them. Kellan and Shay are the main characters of this story. They are close and nothing or no one can pull them apart. They were connected and the connection can’t be severed. They feel each other and hear each others thoughts. They were as thick as thieves and I loved them right away.
As the story goes, we find out the truth about Shay and why she is different from her family. I love each and every moment Shay and Kellan had together. They took care of each other and so sweet to each other. I can’t say much more or I will spoil the story for any reader.
This story is about the fight to be good or bad. The fight to save their family and to be with family. It’s a whole new concept, that I never read from any other books, which was refreshing. I loved it. There is a little romance in the story that author Tijan gives us pieces of throughout the book. Of course that is my favorite part, I wish there was a little bit more, but what I got was enough to sustain my love for paranormal romance. I’m so glad I read this book and I of course loved the Epilogue, I can’t wait to read more of Tijan’s work.
