The Girl Who Chased the Moon
I guess I didn't fully read the description before I started this, which sounds about right for me, because I had no idea that this book had a bit of a supernatural side when I got into it. Now, that's no problem at all, but I honestly thought that this was a normal, regular people book. Either way, I kind of enjoyed this one. It was different, not the Southern tale I was expecting, but it had those qualities as well. I liked the bit of mysterious wonder behind Emily's coming to the strange town, and I enjoyed Julia's relationships, past and present, with Sawyer. I wasn't sure I was going to fully connect, but by the end I definitely knew I enjoyed this little novel. It wasn't very long, so check it out if you're bored and want something a little bit offbeat with the familiar feel of a Southern drama.
