This book was freaking brilliant!! Told in third person POV, we are drawn into the crazy world of Jessica/Jillian and Jude/Jackson. This book took me for a crazy ride!!

The h is freaking nuts!! But it's in a way that you can't help but love her. The author did an incredible job developing this character. I loved how every nuance of her personality is explored throughout the story. Her psychosis, her love, her amazing bond with her brother Jude, her compassion, her spunk, her strength, etc. She embodied too many beautiful characteristics to name.

My heart absolutely broke way too many times in this book. I couldn't help but root for Luke and I'm hoping and praying that at some point in this series, he and the h get their HEA.

It's hard to describe or identify the H in this book. I'm not sure if it would be Luke or AJ because both men play a major role in the h's life and have huge parts in this story. Luke is just simply wonderful. I loved everything about his character. His patience, his confidence, his intelligence, his love for the h... everything. AJ's role is a bit more complex and the ending simply didn't help matters. I have a love/hate relationship with him because I feel like he may be a problem down the line in my dreams of HEA. However, his grumpiness, moodiness, intelligence, strict morals, and the way he cares for the h are endearing to me.

I can't forget to mention how hilarious many parts of this book are. OMG there are so freaking many funny parts.

Fave Quotes:

"He'd found a woman who could take pain. But Jillian didn't just take it - she beseeched it." AJ

"First it's a little disturbing that Stan can't remember the taste of a 'woman's sweet treats'. But what's even crazier is the fact that we have beer, half a loaf of bread, a jar of peanut butter, and three brown bananas, yet somehow you're going to wave your magic wand and make homemade chocolate chip cookies appear in our oven?"Jackson to Jillian

ANYTHING IN REFERENCE TO MR. SNUFFLEUPAGUS

"I didn't have any flour so I used bread, which is made from flour, and I didn't have any blueberries so that's why I used the raisin bread." "They taste like crap."Jillian and AJ talking about her blueberry muffins lol

"So, a kiss is an RSVP to your vagina that says: I. Will. Be. There." Luke to Jessica

"I loved her which is why the word suddenly feels monumentally inadequate for you. I gave her my love, but you... you took it.. You took everything. I never had a choice. You tore into my life... into my hear, wrecking all sense of the man I was before you. Being with you is the best part of my day... every day. You think you're broken, but you're not. And if you were... it wouldn't matter. I love every. Single. Piece of you." Luke to Jessica (re: his ex-fiancee)

I loved the book and I'm about to start reading book 2. Enjoy! xo
