it was ok

This one (#5 in the series) was okay. The strange thing about this book is that I felt like the plot never really got going and there was no real mystery to keep me interested. Also, the relationships in this book are kind of depressing. In almost every relationship one of the partners cheats (and is then easily forgive because it is not about romance, just sex) and one of the partners explicitly lies or hides information from the other. I understand that relationships are hard, but I would love to see one of them working. The saving grace for this book was Michael, I still really like his character. However, despite the issues I had with this book, it was still a quick read and made for some campy fun, it just needed some more intrigue and some more San Francisco.
