it was amazing

This was the second book I have read by Author Jamie Canosa. This was a VERY emotional story, so you may want a box of tissues nearby. Jamie did such a great job of making you feel apart of the story and the story line is an everyday story.

Jade is used to being told she is nothing, would never amount to anything and would do anything. Kiernan is the "all-american" boy who sees something in Jade that he wants to help come alive. He is a protector of her and he helps her learn how to stand up for herself and had the help of his brother Caulder and his mother to show them both the way. His family takes her in and shows Jade what love is and hw a family should be. The support system Jade and Kiernan has is a beautiful thing. But Kiernan's secret could cause Jade to build her walls back up and make her retreat into herself again.

I can't say much more without giving out spoilers, but this is one of those books that you will be glad you read. It is a YA and is part of a series, but it does not have a cliffhanger ending. This was a 5 star read for me.
