Well, it seems everyone already knew what the story is, so I just go on sharing how I feel about this book.

A little bit too black and white for me. The good ones are too good, the evil ones are too evil. Not saying that there are no grey characters, though. As usual, I tend to root for the underdog character.

I like that this book does not hesitate in hammering this idea into the reader's head: you can be honest, idealistic, and honorable; but without cunning, you will be dead. Cannot agree more.

Despite my complaints, the plot is interesting enough. I assume the main plot is killing all the Starks, from what I glimpse from all those infographs spread all over the net. But I am looking forward for the stories of the North, beyond The Wall.

On to Book 2.

Femmy The black-and-white characters will be grayer as they become point-of-view characters in subsequent books. Just wait :-)

mina Buku 1 cara penceritaannya sudah dari POV berbagai karakter ya, tapi semuanya dari sisi Starks, plus Tyrion.
