As I've stated previously, Louise Bay has a wonderful way with words. She got me truly invested... in Luke. I'm sorry to say, but I am always honest, but Ashleigh's character annoyed the frig out of me. Her back and forth, her doubts, her borderline disrespect for Luke's feelings pissed me off. I was pretty much fed up with her and was left with just rooting for Luke's happiness. Whether it was with her or not.
In the end, I was ok with their HEA. It was sweet, which I expected. I really like Bay's books simply because they are sweet, sexy, heartwarming and very low on any angst or drama. So this was another worthwhile read.
Enjoy! xo
