really liked it
bookshelves: contemporary, dual-pov, friends-to-lovers

Once again, Louise Bay's writing held me enthralled with this story. In this second book of the series, Ashleigh asks Luke to give himself a chance to live outside of a relationship and in the end hopes he will choose her. I understood her logic while at the same time I wanted to shake the sh*t out of her.

Ash really annoyed the crap out of me. I liked her, don't get me wrong, but I was annoyed because she was putting all the insecurity she had on Luke. I just didn't think it was fair. I got why, but Luke couldn't prove his feelings if he couldn't show his feelings. Make sense?

I felt extremely awkward with regards to Luke and Fiona. WTH?! I didn't like how far things progressed with them. I didn't like bearing witness to his attraction to her. And then he encouraged a friendship with her??? Yeah, I hope he's okay with Ashleigh remaining friends with Richard.

Overall, another enjoyable read and I wonder what is in store for the conclusion in book 3. Enjoy! xo
