Recommended for: anyone interest in baking

I've never made so many recipes from a single book before. The recipes are excellent and easy to follow and delicious. I don't think I've ever had cupcakes that top the ones I've made from this book (dairy/egg-based or vegan). My favorites so far are the chocolate stout and the lemon macadamia nut. One advantage to vegan baking that I didn't think about before buying this book is that many of the recipes are made entirely from non-perishables--so I can whip up a batch of cupcakes anytime (it helps that some soy milks can be left in the cupboard until opened).
