really liked it
bookshelves: 25-book-collection, childrens-lit

The way the the colors are given life in these little poems is beautiful. The voice is so rich children will never write about colors in the same way again. You not only see colors in this book but you taste and feel and hear them as well. The illustrations help to breath life into the colors as you read. This author/illustrator team also did one of my favorite poetry books (which I often used as a mentor text) called This Is Just To Say.
