really liked it
bookshelves: 2011, young-adult, magical-realism
Recommended for: dystopian, young-adult

A little bit of Body Snatchers, a little bit AI, a little bit Langoliers, a good story.
Told through the transcription of cassette tapes, the story of a few humans who 'survived' an 'upgrade of their society.

I like the concept very much, and the ending is satisfactory without drawing a conclusion from the narrator that you suppose.
This is a YA book, so it is a fast read, wihtout too much teenage nonsense taking up plot time.
