First let me say that I loved loved loved Sawyer. I loved him in book 1 and he only got hotter in this book. Second, this book wouldn't get 4 stars without Sawyer. He made this story and I truly wish that the entire story was told from his POV.
That being said, I liked Grace for about half of the book. The second half not so much. Here's why. Her accent or whatever that was and her thought processes. The accent thing got real annoying real quick. I appreciate that the author kept her POV consistent with this accent in order to authenticate her voice, however, it just raised the level of my aggravation. Every time the story switched to her point of view I was like

I was doing that ALL FREAKING DAY!! I could have really done without out all the "ain't" "somethin'" and generally all of the words ending with "n".
There were many points in the book where she made me think she was TSTL. I realize that the author was trying to make her attitude resemble Julia's from Fighting Temptation, but it was a fail. EPIC FAIL. Grace wasn't spunky. She wasn't feisty. She wasn't tempting. However, she was sweet. I agree with that. That's about all I agree with. What was meant to be cute with her just became irritating. She irritated me for too much of the book, taking away from my enjoyment of all things Sawyer.
Regardless, the suspenseful parts of the plot were great. The parts where Sawyer showed evidence that he was a true badass were wonderful. The moral of the story was superb. The sexy scenes were freaking HAWT (although very reminiscent of all things found in Fighting Temptation). I liked the book but wish I could have loved it.
