For her debut novel, K.C. Lynn did a remarkable job!! I really liked this story and fell in love with all of the characters, except Wyatt and Melissa of course.

With Julia, there wasn't much not to like. She was spunky, sweet, gorgeous, kind, smart, etc. She had some annoying habits, such as crying waaaaaaay too much for my liking, but that didn't take away from her appeal. It just made me appreciate how incredibly sensitive and emotional she was.

Jaxson. Holy frig did I love me some Jaxson. He was the epitome of the Alpha male in this book and he did it oh so sexily. He was a former Navy SEAL and this just added levels to his hotness. Even his flashbacks and nightmares made me drool over him. Everything about his character was attractive, even when he acted like an a**hole. He drove me crazy all over the place and it only made me love him more! He was sex personified and made me get not only a little hot and bothered.

The writing was on point! The pacing was great because I don't remember experiencing a dull moment. The plot was definitely interesting. The sex scenes were stellar! I just really liked this book. I'm excited to read the next one featuring Sawyer because I loved him so much in this story. I'm not sure about Grace only because she didn't have a huge part here. But I guess that will all change in book 2.
