Yeah. It's full of interviews with British film makers of all types saying how it is to make a film, and what it is to work in the film industry. I feel like because it's written as interviews (hundreds of them) you get a sense of how people feel and a bit more insight into the film industry and opinions on it, rather than just step one...... step two..... and WE thought..... That sort of thing.

It IS very very long. and Very very big. But yeah I think pretty indispensable for film people, because it also has all of the written formal documents on a handy disc at the back, so if you're making a film you just load the disc and print off the sheets you need.... Contracts, and legal statements, and Scene plans, etc....

Really really good.

Ummmmm....... No. Maybe the Film textbook FIlm art. By Bordwell and Thompson....? It's in my film books. I didn't read the whole thing though. I think everyone is an expert on films. I mean how many people haven't seen one? And everyone has an opinion of what they see, and it's never wrong. Only sometimes unhelpful like "Oh that movie sucked. The End." It's better be like "That movie sucked because blah blah blah....." So you can talk to me about film all you like....
