This book does a fantastic job of covering all the aspects of a potential zombie war - communication, disaster response, politics, globalization, it has it all! The commentary on different nations' handling of the zombie outbreak is especially prescient. Perhaps the best part of the novel was that it never once admitted to being fiction. There may have been a legal disclaimer on the back of the title page, but otherwise even the author blurb stuck to the idea that this war already happened. The amount of research the author did on current events makes the stories incredibly believable.
