“My mind is a warehouse of carefully organized human emotions.
I lock away the things that do not serve me.”

I read Shatter Me years ago and I never got the chance to get my hands on these novellas. I hadn’t really realized that I needed them until now. Warner was a character that I honestly disliked when I started the series. Everyone was talking about it at the time and I didnt understand why everyone was so obsessed with him. Of course I loved him later after reading the following books.

This novella takes place during and after the events of the first book. It’s all from Warner’s perspective and we got a glimpse of the toll the events of the first book had on him. It’s so strange reading from his point of view, and you can tell the difference between him and Adam. Emotions aren’t really Warner’s thing but in Destroy Me we get to see him battle with his feelings and thoughts. We also see how much is weighing down on him.
