A horrific double murder sends Wallender on the search for insane "foreigners" or a vengeful son. The victim isn't who he originally appears to be either which sets up great red herrings everywhere. But, I think I may have OD'd on Swedish detective novels since listening to Stieg Larsson's entire series last month. I love the Wallender series on PBS but listening to this was just blah - and it wasn't the narrators fault. The whole thing is just so dreary and the men are just so annoyingly stereotypical cop-like that I just found it annoying.

I think I need a break from Sweden.
