really liked it
Read in October, 2007

This is a well written and thought-provoking book. Once I’d got over the bombshell on page 6, I found it pretty engrossing, albeit I had to read it in chunks to avoid overdosing on the depressing side. (Thankfully it was often amusing too.)

The story 'told backwards' doesn’t quite work 100%, jumping around in time, so I was confused here and there!

I noticed some criticism on Amazon UK that the book was all about the author, not Stuart. Admittedly there is a fair amount about ‘Alexder’, but most of it tells us more about Stuart too, so it was ok with me.

Missed the film which was on just a couple of weeks ago; but I was told it wasn't nearly as good as the book!

Donated to Emmaus Colchester today :o)
