This book wasn't like many I have read - there are obvious comparisons to If I Stay (which I liked better than this) and Groundhog Day... I think perhaps this falls under the category of a book where I hated so many of the characters for a long time but have to admire the way the author makes us think about life and how much impact one can really have on the world around us. I don't know whether I'm angry at the way it ended, or if that's the only way it could have gone... I don't know. I think it's fair in that perhaps certain problems can't really be solved so easily. And as someone who WASN'T popular in high school, I sometimes wonder how accurate books like this are in their portrayal of the popular kids in high school; I suppose it is a harsh truth. But it's a book that I'm still thinking about, that I stayed up until 1am to finish, so that is a good one in my mind.
