This book really sets up a story and makes it visual. It simply details the stories of illegal migrants from Mexico (mostly men) coming into the USA and then also - just as fascinating - their lives in the States. It gave me a new respect for people who really want to work, who go beyond what most of us would ever endure to make a living wage. And I was often left in awe of the author, wondering why he also went through the challenges and dangers. The book itself was written in the 1980s, but I feel almost certain that the story would be almost the same today.

Evan This book should be required reading in college. And in Congress, for that matter.
