A very interesting book - so encouraging to see Americans embracing the concept of terroir. The writing is good if very opinionated and at times a bit snotty:) (but aren't all foodies that way??)

*The fact that you are reading this means that you are a reader of books and, as such, one of the last human beings still capable of complex thought.* - this quote has nothing to do with my review but is just more for my own feeling of book-reader-smugness :)
