really liked it
bookshelves: ebook, kindle

Poignant book by several of the Secret Service agents protecting the Kennedy family before, during and after the assassination. The book starts out almost like a police report but then warms up very quickly as the book approaches "that day". Not only is tragedy of the assassination made more real, but so is the anguish of the agents who strove so hard to protect the President and who were truly friends of the First Family. Hard to read at times - very emotional - but a good book. And, conspiracy theorists, Oswald did it on his own.
